Handcrafted Wire Art & Wire Jewellery
I create sculptures and jewellery from wire; all my pieces are designed by myself; I don't follow tutorials, as I want my pieces to be completely my own and unique.
Hours of work go into each design even before I actually start creating a piece. Working out proportions, the thickness of the piece and the layering needed, and the detail needed.
Colourings are researched to get the right blends/shades for animal sculptures. Animals are observed to create the right posture, movement feel, personality, and so much more. This is just at the design table before I even pick up the wire to create.
